The IEEE Signal Processing Society, world’s premier professional society and IEEE’s first ever society, started its kerala chapter in the year 2014, with an initial member count of 20. Within a short span of time the chapter member count grew to more than 350 including 27 senior members, 23 Graduate members and 229+ student members over 12 local chapter across Kerala Section. The chapter maintains a high standard of professionalism and technical competency so as to incubates the exchange of information among the community, thus focusing on the innovations shaping the future of signal processing and the future of our world.

SPS serves its members through high quality publications, conferences, technical and educational activities, and leadership opportunities. Its goal is to keep members abreast of the latest information and to serve the public at large.
