UNDERSTANDING THE IEEE SPS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The event started with a welcome address from Dr Rajesh M V, Advisor, IEEE SPS Kerala Section.

  1. The subject matter expert, Dr. Charles Casimiro Cavalcante then gave a small introduction of himself and also expressed his gratitude for inviting him.
  2. He then started the scholarship presentation.
  3. The presentation was comprehensive and useful covering all the rules and regulations, along with the caveats while applying for the scholarship.
  4. At the end of the presentation, Dr Charles implored to submit as much applications as possible before the deadline, June 30, 2023.
  5. The presentation was followed by a very good Q&A session, in which a good number of queries were raised by the attendees and answered by Dr Charles himself.
  6. The session ended with a group photo session, followed by a Vote of Thanks from Ms Naeema Ziyad, ECC, IEEE SPS Kerala Section.
  7. Ms Navya Prasad was the emcee of the event.
